SHOWCASING MY JOURNEY
Who I Am
This portfolio highlights my work in the radio industry, featuring a variety of newscasts and voice over projects, and both audio and video essays that illustrate my base as a broadcaster and storyteller. I am young and ambitious journalist, ready to be molded to the goals and processes of your organization.
About Me
I’m a San Diego native, journalist, broadcaster, and competitive boxer with a passion for clear, compelling storytelling. I grew up in Point Loma playing baseball, water polo, and boxing, but I always gravitated toward writing and video production. I knew early on that I had a talent for telling stories in a way that held people’s attention.
That led me to the University of Nevada, Reno, where I studied journalism and broadcasting and competed in collegiate boxing under the National Collegiate Boxing Association.
Boxing gave me the confidence and mental toughness I needed to thrive in live news. I served as team president and captain, became a two-time national finalist and three-time All-American, and learned how to lead under pressure. That same discipline carried into my reporting.

I interned at UNR's student-led reporting collective, Our Town Reno. I worked at KKOH News Talk Radio. Both experiences taught me that my capabilities are forever expanding.

I work hard, stay calm in pressure situations, and get the story right. I’m not afraid to take on tough assignments or push past limits. My goal has always been the same, which is to tell real stories in a way people trust.

Reno helped me grow. Now I’m ready to chase my dreams and become a trusted broadcast persona in my hometown of San Diego, California.
